No Silverlight 5 on Mac Bone X 10.6.8 with Firefox nine?

Hi

Does plugin Silverlight v load on Mac Os X 10.6.viii with Firefox 9?
All my systems with this configuration fail to load Silverlight 5.

Information technology works with Windows + Firefox/Safari and previous versions of Firefox.

The plug-in should be here

/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Silverlight.plugin

Practise you see it?

Also, in FF Tools > Add-ons > Plugins

you should see it and information technology should be enabled.

Silverlight Plugin version 5.0.61118.0, installed in /Library/Internet Plugins and enabled in Advertizement-ons Director,
does not load here with Firefox nine.0.1.
On the other mitt, information technology does load with Nightly and Safari 5.1.2.

To the OP, do you see information technology in about:plugins. Too, what do you lot and Eckard hateful when you say doesn't load?

I tested mine here and it works fine with FF10b3. Make certain that JavaScript is enabled and nothing is blocking similar NoScript.

I wanted to say that streaming doesn't load.
JavaScript is enabled and I don't utilize NoScript. Just tested your link, the demo on the MS Silverlight page
works fine in Nightly. In FF nine.0.ane I get a big black rectangle instead and zilch is loading.

After reading this problems written report from a twelvemonth agone I started FF 9 in 32-scrap mode and had no trouble viewing the demo !!

Interesting. It works fine for me in 64 bit mode for FF9.0.1 and FF10b3. Might be somehow related to me using King of beasts instead of Snowfall Leopard.

Very interesting. It appears that Lion has the power to run FF in 64 bit mode while simultaneously running the Silverlight plugin in 32 bit mode as yous tin can encounter from the Activity Monitor screenshot beneath.

So it would appear in that location is a change in FF10 that allows information technology to run 32 bit plugins while information technology runs in 64 flake mode. I'll take to look at the particular changes in 10 and see if that change it noted.
